Every now and then I paint a subject with little or no background – In particular birds. A friend once said that I am painting “Botanical Birds”. I like the description and now am painting “botanical bugs”
My Day 8 painting for this event is called “Socialite”. Eastern Yellow Swallowtail butterfly. This is a 5×7″ transparent watercolour on Arches 300lb paper. It is matted and ready for your 8 x 10″ frame.
