Well, I am back at it. At first I resisted with September being such a busy month and all – with two weddings and a new grandbaby on the way clear across the country! However, I had enough notice this time to do enough (is there ever enough?) front end planning. I ordered art supplies to fill in the gaps, ordered archival mats and backing from my favourite framer for the water-colours paintings and organized my reference materials.
I mean I feel like I am good to go. We shall see how it does go.
My first painting for this event is called “Bee-utiful”. A bee on a pompom dahlia in rich gold and yellow shades. This is a 5.5”x7.5” transparent watercolour on Arches 300lb paper. It is matted and ready for your 8×10 frame.

You can check out this project by visiting here – As of today there are 780 artists participating in this challenge representing 25 countries! Very cool!!! It looks as if there are only a couple of us of us participanting in New Brunswick.
Love your bee-utiful! Great colors. They are hard for me to deal with.
